'runnerups.csv' contains game-by-game team totals for the runner-up team from every finals game between 1980 and 2017. The 1980 NBA Finals was the first Finals series since the NBA added the three point line. Content The data was scrapped from basketball-reference.com. Variables in 'champs.csv' and 'runnerups.csv' - Year: The year the series was played - Team: The name of the team. - Win: 1 = Win. 0 = Loss - Home: 1 = Home team. 0 = Away team. - Game: Game # - MP - Total minutes played. Equals 240 (48x5=240) if game did not go to overtime.
