Context We collected this dataset to build a system that could predict how long a software project would take. Content The data in the dataset has been already processed and organized, but if you need more data points or a more comprehensive dataset (our dataset doesn't include commit messages for example) we recommend using [GitHub's 3TB+ data dump of github repos][1] or [GH Archive's data dump of all GitHub events][2]. The advantage of using this dataset instead of those is that the data here has already been processed and it's manageable (1GB vs several TBs).
