Context *Bhagavad-gītā* is the most important chapter of *Mahābhārata*, the great Sanskrit epic of ancient India, one of the books of vedic literature and one of the most significant literary works of human history. *Bhagavad-gītā* contains a discussion between God, Lord K???a and Arjuna, in which K???a teaches Arjuna about the most important questions of human life. Content In this dataset there is the complete Sanskrit text of *Bhagavad-gītā* in three forms. The first field of the dataset is the index, in the second field (devanagari) there are the texts or verses of *Bhagavad-gītā* written in devanagari script, in the third field (verse_text) there are the texts of the verses again, but written in latin script with diacritics and in the last field (verse_text_no_samdhis) there are the texts of the verses again, but the words are separated the according to the external sa?dhi (sound changes at word boundaries) rules. This text is in accordance with the Sanskrit text of the book *Bhagavad-gītā* As It Is written by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and published by Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. Inspiration *Bhagavad-gītā* is a very important piece of philosophical and theological literature, therefore I think that analysing it with the tools of data science, natural language processing could give interesting results.
