# Context This data includes information about the 50 United State legislatures, specifically the Senate chambers. # Content The information contained within this data set include: 1-the state, 2-the number of Senate seats that Democrats hold in that state, 3-the number of Senate seats that Republicans hold in that state, 4-the number of Senate other parties or nonpartisan seats hold in that state. I acquired this data through the National Conference of State Legislatures website.
